Ensemble is a multifunctional ironing board that turns into a mirror when not in use, so you don't have to hide the ironing board again.
The days of pushing the ironing board into the closet and sliding between the laundry shelves are finally over. The same goes for the days when you bend back just to use them. Well, almost. Ensemble is the ironing board design concept of the designer team from Off Garage Design Studio. It aims to turn the ironing board into a multifunctional standing mirror, which can be rotated on its two-legged base to become a horizontal ironing board.
The designers of Off Garage integrated the ironing board with the mirror because they naturally go hand in hand. We iron the clothes, put them on, and then use the mirror to adjust the appearance of the finished product. It makes sense for two objects to be placed in the same room, and better yet, the same piece of furniture.
Viewed from one side, Ensemble is your traditional floor mirror, with a base with two legs attached to the center of the mirror, allowing it to tilt and rotate on the floor base. When the user rotates the Ensemble, the ironing board function will appear. Rotate 90° in one direction, and the mirror becomes a fully functional horizontal ironing board.
Along the back of the mirror and the front of the ironing board, Off Garage contains a storage box for storing irons, water and perfume cans, and brush trays. With Ensemble, when the user wants to iron clothes, there is no need to pull from the far side of the closet. You only need to turn the mirror over, select the brush of the iron, and then iron the folds of the clothes. In addition to the storage compartment, users will also find a perfume steamer under the clothes hanger, which can apply different scents on clothes while steaming wrinkles.
The Ensemble has a two-legged base that can be hinged to the center of the mirror, turning it into a horizontal ironing board.
There is a storage box at the bottom of the Ensemble, which contains an iron, brush tray, perfume and water cans.
When Ensemble is in the ironing position, the heat-resistant plastic cover ensures safe steaming and ironing.
Users can hang their clothes on the built-in hangers, and then use perfume steam to remove wrinkles.
