Parents' incredible £910 for remodeling nine-year-old son's bathroom mirrors
30-year-old Louise Fry and her 31-year-old partner Jodie decided to carry out a DIY bathroom mirror project without any plumbing experience and completely changed the appearance of the space with an affordable budgetA couple decorated their son’s en suite bathroom for £910 and did all the work by themselves.
30-year-old Louise Fry and her 31-year-old partner Jodie are the parents of 9-year-old Reece, whose bathroom has been renovated.
The two decided to carry out a DIY project without any plumbing experience and completely changed the appearance of the space while potentially saving thousands of dollars.
They bargained through B&Q, Wickes and The Range, and were able to buy everything needed to remodel the room.
First, they demolished the walls and made sure the pipes are safe, then laid the tiled floors and walls and installed new showers.
Then they applied a new coat of paint to the attached bathroom, and once the bathroom accessories were dry, they boxed all the pipes and tiled them so they were invisible.
After working with a full-time job for five weeks, the couple spent £910 to remodel Reece's bathroom.
Louise said: "The bathroom renovation allowed us to spend many long nights and weekends between working full-time and starting two new businesses.
"We spent many long nights and managed to complete the cleaning of the bathroom on the weekend, during which we worked full-time and started two new businesses.
"We are very satisfied with the result; our son takes the finished product full moon and takes a shower happily before going to school at 7.30am every morning!"
The finally redesigned photo was posted on Louise's Facebook, and received a lot of information to congratulate them for their excellent work.
"The girl's power is at its best. It looks great, you motivate me, and I can be mine," another Facebook user commented.
Louise shared a few words of wisdom for anyone who wants to participate in similar projects: "Before you start, please make sure you have enough time to read and gain basic knowledge, understanding what you cannot understand.
"Because my wife and I are both women and there are no men around, we have to learn from ourselves, but now we will really give it a go!
"Since we bought the first house together, we have changed the load and I believe we will conquer more in the next few years!"
